The History of the Barn
When William and Ann Carter purchased the land from the Snyder family in 1977, it was a traditional working farm, bustling with cattle, horses, and pigs, and dedicated to harvesting corn and winter wheat.
Decades later, a new vision emerged. Mark and Terri Carter initiated a major renovation of the original farmhouse and barn in 2005. This vital renewal quickly transformed the farm's purpose. By 2007, the historic barn and surrounding acreage became a cherished venue for private parties and charitable events, transitioning from a place of harvest to a place of community and celebration.
The owners, Mark and Terri Carter, have been working with events for 20 years. They have hosted hundreds of events and have become experts in event planning. Terri is the main event coordinator and will help with anything you need.
